The
new Wisconsin FFA President is Nick Palkowski of the
Cochran-Fountain City FFA Chapter. The 2007-08 State FFA Parliamentarian was elected by his out-going officer team during the last
session of the 79th Wisconsin FFA Convention in Madison
on Thursday.
Palkowski is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison majoring in Wildlife ecology. His SAE Program during his
FFA career was focused on landscape management projects and agricultural education programs, such as conducting invasive species presentations and holding ag literacy seminars.
Nick will serve as the
leader of the new officer team, which was elected Wednesday
night at the Alliant Energy Center. He replaces
Andrew Christenson from the Amery FFA.
