The
new Wisconsin FFA President is BJ Chrisler of the Sauk
Prairie FFA Chapter. The 2008-09 State FFA Vice
President was elected by his out-going officer team during
the last session of the 80th Wisconsin FFA Convention
in Madison on Thursday.
Chrisler is
a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison majoring
in Agricultural Education. His SAE Program during his
FFA career involved working on his family's dairy farm,
as well as working for the Sauk Prairie Area Community
Recreation Department.
BJ will serve as the leader
of the new officer team, which was elected Wednesday night
at the Alliant Energy Center. He replaces Nick
Palkowski of the Cochran-Fountain
City FFA.
