Paul Named State FFA Star in Agribusiness
STATE WINNER: Jacob
Paul, Randolph-Cambria-Friesland
Jacob owns T&J Lawn Care, an enterprise originally established as
a partnerships between his brother and dad. Paul now mows 13 lawns,
two area parks and public boat landings. He also won two job bids for
local cemeteries.
In addition to mowing, Paul is also an excellent mechanic. He takes
responsibility for servicing and repairing all of his own equipment.
With help from his FFA advisor, Jacob has established a record keeping
system that allows him to provide income and expense documents for each
of his clients.
He hopes to increase his lawn care business and become a partner in
Paul Farms, the family cash grain operation.
