Abigail Boeck Earns To Honors in GROWMARK Essay Contest

The 2010 GROWMARK Essay theme was “Energy Independence for America: the Local Cooperatives’ Role.” The purpose of the contest is to improve proficiency in writing and increase understanding of current issues in agriculture.  The contest was open to all FFA members.  GROWMARK awards a $300 scholarship to the state winner and a $300 award to the state winner’s FFA chapter in their honor.  The four state runners-up will receive a $100 scholarship.
