Animal Health Institute Releases Study Showing Size

The U.S. animal health industry in 2016 employed 21,257 workers and paid more than $1.2 billion in wages and $1.2 billion in taxes, according to a new study commissioned by the Animal Health Institute.
According to POLITICO, animal medicines "help farmers, ranchers and veterinarians keep 9 billion food animals healthy and contribute to a safe food supply for American families," AHI President and CEO Alexander Matthews said in a statement.
