Vote on CRI, Koepon Holding Merger Expected in May
USAgNet - 04/23/2018

The board of directors and delegates of the Wisconsin-based Cooperative Resources International are expected to vote soon on the proposed merger with Koepon Holding BV of The Netherlands to blend the two companies into one.

Executives of the CRI board announced late last year that a non-binding agreement has been reached with Koepon, which is the parent company of Alta Genetics and Valley Ag Software.

At the time, CRI Business Development Director Pete Giacomini stated that the deal must still be approved by both of the companies' boards of directors, as well as by CRI member-delegates. That is expected to happen in May, company officials said last week.

CRI is a member-owned holding cooperative, which consists of AgSource, GENEX and MOFA Global

If approved, the organizations plan to formalize the merger by early to mid-summer. The company will be headquartered in Wisconsin.
