Man Dies in Crop Duster Plane Crash
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 08/28/2015

The pilot of a crop dusting plane has died after his aircraft crashed near the field he was spraying this week.

The Waushara County Sheriff's Department said 38-year-old Robert Dopp of Beldenville was dusting his potato field on Wednesday afternoon when the plane went down in a wooded area.

Authorities confirmed that Dopp was the only person on board the plane when it crashed.

Reports say emergency crews had to go through a decontamination process after working at the site because of the chemicals on the plane used for spraying potatoes.

The FAA and Department of Natural Resources are investigating the mishap.
