AgrAbility of Wisconsin Celebrating 25 Years of Service
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 09/02/2016

A statewide program that specializes in helping farmers with disabilities is celebrating its first 25 years of making a difference. AgrAbility of Wisconsin was founded in 1991 and has successfully served over 2,400 farmers, farm workers and families.

The organization is holding a 25 Year Celebration Event at the Arlington Agricultural Research Station on September 29. The event will include an interactive panel of past AgrAbility of Wisconsin clients sharing their experiences, demonstrations of assistive technology used on the farm, speakers from the industry, great food, a silent auction, and networking.

AgrAbility of Wisconsin is a UW-Extension, UW-Madison Biological Systems Engineering and Easter Seals Wisconsin partnership. For the past quarter of a century, the program has been promoting success in agriculture for farmers with limitations and their families.
