Foremost Farms Earns IDFA Safety Awards

The Baraboo-based Foremost Farms USA announced that several of its processing plants have been recognized as winners of the Processing Facility Safety Recognition Awards by the International Dairy Foods Association. The cooperative earned honors for Best Day Away Restricted Transfer Rate and Zero
Lost Work Days.
"Foremost Farms won multiple IDFA Safety Awards again this year," said Justin Pope, Foremost Farms' director of environmental health, safety and sustainability. "Thanks to our employees for your commitment to working safely and staying healthy."
The annual Dairy Industry Safety Recognition Awards program honors facilities for outstanding worker safety performance. IDFA works with companies to monitor the procedures that prevent harmful incidents, such as lost workday injuries.
Plants within the Foremost Farms system that earned safety honors include Wisconsin locations in Milan, Clayton, Sparta, Appleton, Chilton, Lancaster, Marshfield and Plover; as well as Preston, Minnesota.
