NorthStar Cooperative Offering College Scholarship

Students who live in portions of Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana may qualify for college scholarship money if their parents are stockowners of NorthStar Cooperative. Company General Manager Gary
Smith says they are offering a $500 scholarships for post-high school education in the field of agriculture.
"The board of directors established the scholarship program several years ago as a way for NorthStar to help ensure the development of future leaders in agriculture," Smith says. "Each year the number of
applicants grows and we are pleased with the caliber of people that are interested in pursing a career in this industry."
Scholarships applicants are evaluated on scholastic achievement, current and potential leadership, and interest in pursing a career in agriculture.
