UWRF Collegiate Farm Bureau Elects Officers

The Collegiate Farm Bureau group at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls has elected its new officers for the current school year.

Claire Olson, a senior majoring in agricultural studies with a minor in dairy science, has been elected president of the group. The Sturgeon Bay native is active with Sigma Alpha, the Agriculture Education Society, and is a CAFES Ambassador. She had been working as an intern for Conagra Brands/Birds Eye Foods in Hastings, Minnesota, over the past summer.

Emma Jorgenson from Brooklyn was elected vice president. She is a sophomore studying ag business and minoring in equine science.

Serenity Hetke, Ladysmith, will serve as secretary and chair of the Ag Day event. She is a junior studying dairy science. The new treasurer will be David Foerster of Oostburg. He is a junior , majoring in ag business with an emphasis in personal finance. And this year's reporter is Brock Irwin, of Belvidere, Illinois, a senior studying dairy science with a minor in ag business.

The Collegiate Farm Bureau is affiliated with the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation.
