UWRF Collegiate Rodeo Marks 45 Years

Nearly 500 competitors from a dozen colleges and universities in the Great Plains Region will kick up the dust for the 45th Annual Falcon Frontier Days Rodeo September 18-19 at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

Competition times will be September 18 at 7 p.m. and September 19 at 1:30 and 7 p.m. Admission is $8 at the gate for UWRF students with ID and students in kindergarten through grade 6. Admission for adults and students in grade 7 and up is $14 at the gate. Children aged 4 and under are admitted are free.

This event, part of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association, will be held at the Rodeo grounds, located on Laboratory Farm No 1, on Wasson Road, just west of River Falls on the Highway 65 bypass.

Advance discount tickets are available at the UWRF food science office by calling 715-425-3704.

Ticket sales from the event assist the 50 or so members of the UWRF Rodeo Club and rodeo team to attend other competitions through the Great Plains Region.
