Accelerated Genetics CEO Joel Groskreutz Resigns
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 09/29/2016

The Baraboo-based Accelerated Genetics is looking for a new president and CEO after Joel Groskreutz announced his resignation. In a statement, the cooperative said it is appreciative of Groskreutz's commitment and dedication to the agriculture industry.

Under his leadership, Accelerated Genetics went through a new branding process, grew in size after acquiring Nebraska Bull Service and signed agreements with Canadian and European A.I. companies to expand products in those countries.

Groskreutz replaced Roger Ripley, who retired from Accelerated Genetics in 2008 after 24 years with the company.

During the transition, the co-op's board of directors has appointed four individuals to serve as co-chairs to help run the company on an interim basis. They include Tom Mack, Vice President Business Operations and Finance; Dr. Charlie Brown, Vice President Production and Veterinary Services; Ryan Weigel, Vice President Dairy Sire Procurement; and Don Trimmer, Vice President Beef Programs.

Accelerated Genetics is a global provider of bovine genetics and research, reproductive services, and solution-based animal health products.
