Former Farm Tech Host Wins World Forage Superbowl

A Barron County dairy operation that hosted Wisconsin Farm Technology Days back in 2013 took home Grand Champion Forage honors during the World Forage Analysis Superbowl at World Dairy Expo this week. Breezy Hill Dairy of Dallas was awarded
$2,500 for their efforts.
The Grand Champion First-Time Entrant cash award of $1,500 went to Judd Farms, Waterville, Minnesota.
In addition, two Quality Counts Awards were presented to Fredrick Farms of Owen for topping the Quality Counts Corn Silage competition. And Prairieland Dairy LLC, Belleville, was the winner of the Quality Counts Hay/Haylage contest.
This year's World Forage Analysis Superbowl evaluated a record-breaking 1,066 entries and presented awards to top finishers at a luncheon in Madison.
