Vita Plus Donates $25,000 to UW-Platteville Dairy Science Fund

In honor of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville's Pioneers Day of Giving, Vita Plus Corporation announced a lead gift of $25,000 to benefit the school's Dairy Science Faculty Fund.
"With our roots deep in Wisconsin soil and at the core of our business in dairy, investing in the Dairy Science Faculty Fund at UW-Platteville makes great sense," Vita Plus Sales Manager Brian Vaassen. "We believe education is vital whether it is increasing the
knowledge of our producers and of our staff. Education helps the dairy industry make advances to meet the growing demand of dairy products."
The school says industry partnerships were crucial in shaping the curriculum for the UW-Platteville dairy science major, which was launched last fall.
A check presentation will take place this weekend during the college's homecoming celebration.
