Update: Missing Cows Returned to Marathon Co. Farm

The owner of Maple Ridge Dairy near Stratford says seven dairy cows that he presumed were stolen are now back in his possession.
Brian Forrest said four springing heifers and three older dairy cows were missing from his farm since October 4. All of the animals were bred and due to calve soon.
Reports say the animals were found about 30 miles away on another farm.
The Marathon County Sheriff's Department has not commented on the specifics of how the animals were returned, but said an investigation continues.
Forrest had been offering a $500 cash reward for information on where the cows were taken.
