Wood Co. Holstein Breeders Seeking Sale Consignments

The Wood County Area Holstein Breeders is currently looking for dairy heifers for its 27th annual Purple Ribbon Consignment Sale. The auction will be held March 21, 2015 in Marshfield.
Organizers say the dam of consignments should be classified 82 at two years of age or at least 84 at four years old.
First Choice and Embryo Packages are also eligible to be consigned.
Retained commissions will be 15-percent for sales under $5,000 and 12-percent for heifers that bring over $5,001.
The sale committee recommends that all cattle over six months of age be Brucella vaccinated.
