Extension Webinar to Focus on Farmland Leasing
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 12/03/2020
The University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension is hosting a live web meeting called 'Farmland Markets & Leasing Contracts' next week. The program will be held on December 18 at 11:00 a.m., focusing on on several aspects of farmland leasing.
The first half of the hour-long meeting will feature farmland markets and rental prices with Simon Jette Nantel, assistant professor and Extension specialist in farm management from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Marathon County Extension Educator
Heather Schlesser will go over building a robust lease agreement.
The webinar will wrap up with breakout sessions on leasing buildings, flexible leases, pasture leasing, small acreage investments and renting irrigated land.
