Wisconsin Holstein Seeking Summer Intern Applicants
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 11/13/2018
The Wisconsin Holstein Association is now accepting resumes and applications for two summer internship opportunities.
The WHA Public Relations & Communications intern will work from June through August 2019 from the organization's headquarters in Baraboo. The winning candidate will attend the Wisconsin State Fair, summer dairy shows and other events. They will also
write press releases, compile and publish updated marketing materials and write profile articles in the Wisconsin Holstein News magazine.
Meanwhile, the group is also hiring a National Holstein Convention intern to help coordinate plans for the event, being hosted in Wisconsin next summer. This student will be based remotely with occasional time in the office. They will assist the planning
committee with publicizing the national convention, help organize fundraising commitments and create promotional collateral for sponsors.
It is not required that applicants be studying majors in an agriculture field, but a background in the dairy industry is preferred.
To apply for either of the internships, students are asked to forward a resume complete with two letters of reference by November 15.
For more information or to apply, call 800-223-4269.
