Wisconsin Ag Connection - 11/16/2015

The Beaver Dam-based United Cooperative has acquired four grain and agronomy locations from Archer Daniels Midland Co. The facilities are located in Auroraville, Oshkosh, Ripon and Westfield.

"United Cooperative strives every day to make sure we have the products and services to meet and exceed the needs of our patron members, regardless of the size and scope of their farming operation," said UC CEO David Cramer. "This business, combined with our existing facilities in the area, will allow us to offer improved feed, grain, agronomy, and energy services to our new and existing customers in central-Wisconsin."

The four facilities have a combined grain storage capacity of over 13 million.

Meanwhile, United Cooperative also acquired the retail agronomy locations at Westfield and Auroraville. The Oshkosh location includes a liquid fertilizer terminal capable of receiving rail or truck with storage capacity of over 20,000 tons.

United Cooperative is a full-service cooperative offering feed, grain, agronomy and energy services to patrons throughout much of Wisconsin, northern Illinois, and upper-Michigan.
