Farm Bureau to Sponsor Manure Hauling Meeting

The state's largest farm group is calling a meeting next week to discuss manure hauling issues that have recently occurred on local roadways.
According to the Wisconsin Farm Bureau, the forum will be held at the Country Aire Ballroom near Stratford on November 17, starting at 8:00 p.m.
Farm Bureau District Coordinator Lindsey Prahl says the purpose of the event is to collect constructive ideas of how to resolve the situation that farmers and manure haulers often find themselves in with local law enforcement on local roads.
She says local input is needed and encouraged all Farm Bureau members to attend.
A lobbyist from the WFBF will be on hand, as well as local community leaders and other dignitaries.
