'Leadership Wisconsin' Applications Due November 30
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 11/23/2015
The Leadership Wisconsin program is looking for candidates for next year's group who have a passion to make a difference in their communities. Director Sarah Schlosser says the program gives participants a unique opportunity to increase their knowledge and
skills, while exposing them to a broad range of issues, information, contacts and experiences that will make them better leaders.
The goal of the innovative program is to strengthen communities through preparing leaders as catalysts to effectively deal with today's changing world. The curriculum identifies current and future key issues impacting the state, nation and world, such as
agriculture, energy, education, immigration and healthcare. Once participants are selected to the program, their talents, expertise, and passions are consider in determining the specific issues that will be studied.
Selected participants will go through a two-year program that consists of a series of seminars. They will also be able to participate in national and international workshops and travel experiences.
To apply for the program, interested applicants must complete a written application and go through an interview process.
Applications are due by November 30. For more information, call the Leadership Wisconsin program office at 608-263-0817.
