Dairy Leaders Invited to Attend PDPW Managers Academy
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 12/04/2017

The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin is holding a three-day forum this winter for dairy managers, industry directors, processors, marketers and distributors who want to grow their business executive skills.

The Managers Academy is being held January 16-18 in Orlando, Florida, where attendees will have the opportunity to participate in two days of in-class sessions and a full day of executive-level tour of Disney World.

Participants will also tour the Iron Bridge Regional Water Reclamation Facility in the Orlando Easterly Wetlands and hear from Jim Sleper, CEO of Southeast Milk, Inc.

"Managers Academy is the place to be to identify and capitalize on those opportunities," said PDPW Director Shelly Mayer. "You will return to your business refreshed, stimulated and empowered to make more effective short- and long-term decisions for the viability and advancement of your business."

This year's business coaches include Disney Executive Lee Cockerell and Dr. David Kohl, professor emeritus at Virginia Tech and President of AgriVisions, LLC. They will build upon their experiences of the past decades to discuss strategic management strategies for business success.
