Sponsors Sought for Youth Pig Project Scholarships
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 12/06/2017
The Wisconsin Pork Association is asking producers and industry businesses to help sponsor scholarships for youth exhibiting swine. Each year, the group awards $50 scholarships to youth to help offset the costs associated with their pig projects.
Sponsorship levels begin at $50 and all sponsors will receive recognition in the press release announcing the scholarship recipients, be listed as a sponsor on the WPA website, and farm/business information will be provided to scholarship winners as a
suggested source for their project animals or show supplies. Those contributing at the $100 level or more will also have the opportunity to submit a pre-created digital advertisement to be placed on the WPA website and one social media post.
Since the association is not publishing a Buy Wisconsin First Directory next year, they are encouraging producers to consider monetary sponsorship option as an opportunity to promote a farm, business or sale to youth involved in swine projects.
