Senate Democrats Appointed to Ag, DNR Committees

Incoming Senate Democratic Leader Jennifer Shilling has announced her party's members of standing and joint committees for the upcoming legislative session.
Sen. Kathleen Vinehout from Alma will continue to serve as the ranking member of the state's Senate Ag Committee. Other Democrat members include Dave Hansen, Green Bay; Julie Lassa, Stevens Point; and Lena Taylor, Milwaukee.
Meanwhile, Democrat Mark Miller, Monona, will serve as ranking member of the Senate Natural Resources Committee again next year. Sen. Bob Wirch is the only other Democrat on that panel.
The 2015-16 legislative session begins in early January.
