Pigs Lost in Brown County Barn Fire
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 02/08/2016
Authorities are trying to determine the cause of a barn fire last week that cost the lives of several pigs on a farm near Denmark.
According to the Brown County Sheriff's Department, the blaze was reported early Thursday morning by a passerby who saw the flames from the road.
Firefighters were able to save a variety of other animals that were housed in the building. Reports say the owners of the property were not home at the time.
The barn is worth an estimated $100,000.
