Wisconsin Dairy & Beef Well-Being Conference Slated for March
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 02/07/2018

The University of Wisconsin-Extension will host its annual Dairy and Beef Well-Being Conference on March 20-21 at Tundra Lodge Conference Center in Green Bay. Organizers say the event will focus on educating consumers and animal care practices.

Dairy and beef producers, veterinarians, farm service providers, educators, emergency managers, first responders, and elected officials are encouraged to attend.

For the first time, a pre-conference geared specifically toward dairy workers will be held. That session will be presented simultaneously in both English and Spanish.

Meanwhile, State Agriculture Secretary Sheila Harsdorf will give a keynote address at the forum.

The conference has been approved for continuing education credits for veterinary practitioners, veterinary technicians, and humane officers. Also, Beef/Dairy Beef Quality Assurance and the American Registry for Professional Animal Scientists credits will be offered.
