Mess, Selz-Pralle Elected to AgSource Board
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 02/09/2017

Members of AgSource Cooperative Services have elected two new board members during its annual meeting. Carrie Mess of Johnson Creek and Pam Selz-Pralle from Humbird were chosen to serve a three-year term on the panel.

Mess and her husband Patrick farm in partnership with his parents, Clem and Cathy Mess. The couples milk 100 cows and grow crops on 300 acres near Lake Mills. She is a founding member of the Dairy Girl Network and serves on the organization's board of directors. In addition, Carrie writes the popular Dairy Carrie Blog and is a professional speaker.

Selz-Pralle and her husband, Scott, own and operate Selz-Pralle Dairy, where they milk 450 Registered Holsteins and manage 1,000 acres of crop land with the assistance of a multi-cultural staff. She previously served on AgSource's board of directors, including a stint as president.

They replaced Edward Strauss of Sheboygan Falls and David Koepke from Hartland, who's terms on the board have expired.

Meanwhile, Daniel Diederich of DePere was elected president of the board. This year's vice president is Annette Trescher of Cashton and Matt Gartman of Sheboygan is the new secretary. Diederich and Trescher will also represent AgSource on the Cooperative Resources International Board of Directors.
