AgSource Board Members Chosen at Annual Meeting
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 02/07/2014

Delegates at the recent annual meeting of AgSource Cooperative Services have re-elected David Koepke, Hartland; Daniel Nodolf, Belmont; and Edward Strauss, Sheboygan Falls to serve three-year terms on its board of directors.

The panel also chose its slate of officers for the coming year, in which Daniel Diederich, DePere, will serve as president; Annette Trescher, Cashton, vice president; and Nathan Kling, Taylor, secretary. Diederich and Trescher will also represent AgSource on the Cooperative Resources International board.

Directors whose seats were not up for re-election included Matthew Gartman, Sheboygan; Ralph Levzow, Rio; and John Utecht, Marathon. John Shutzke, representing the University of Wisconsin-Extension, serves as an Ex Officio member of the board.

Meanwhile, the cooperative recognized Jean Tegen, former manager of Manitowoc County DHIA, as the 2014 Friend of the Cooperative. The award honors a non-member individual or an organization that has contributed to, supported, and helped strengthen AgSource, its services, and the dairy industry as a whole.

And LeRoy Schmitz of Fond du Lac was presented the 2014 Distinguished Leadership Award. That honor goes to a member of the cooperative who has demonstrated exceptional service and provided extraordinary leadership within the organization.
