Two Separate Barn Fires Reported Last Weekend
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 02/11/2019
It was an unfortunate weekend in parts of rural Wisconsin as firefighters battled a pair of unrelated barn fires.
On Friday, a fire broke out in a calf barn in Fond du Lac County, killing six head of cattle. The incident happened on a farm in the town of Byron around 1:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, another fire was reported near Dellona in Sauk County early Sunday morning. Reports say crews battled that blaze for two hours, which spread to other nearby structures.
In both cases, the buildings were considered to be total losses, but no people were injured while responding to the fire calls.
