Stateline Equine Education Program Slated for February 24

The Stateline Equine Education team will be hosting the annual equine educational workshop later this month in southeast Wisconsin. The February 24 meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Kenosha County Center in Bristol.
The focus of the workshop will be Horse Nutrition and pasture and weed management. A strong slate of industry professionals will be presenting at the day long workshop, sharing their expertise with participants.
Dr. Kevin Kline, Extension Horse Specialist at the University of Illinois, will be the keynote speakers. He'll talk about various equine health topics around the country, with research work focusing on effects of feed processing and feed efficiency. He will also be
leading off the workshop with a presentation on matching feed to the need and feed quality considerations.
The cost for adults is $25 per person or $40 for two adults. Older youth are encouraged to attend with registration at $15 per student. Lunch will be provided and is included in the cost of registration. Preregistration is required for the workshop, visit
