Workshop on Hops Production Slated for February 24

Farmers who are interested in growing hops for the craft beer industry may want to sign-up for an upcoming meeting in Eau Claire this month.
The University of Wisconsin-Extension is sponsoring its ninth annual Alternative Agriculture Enterprise workshop on February 24 at Lazy Monk Brewery from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Topics will include harvest and post harvest handling of hops, the newest in disease research, fertilizer management, post harvest research, and developing a pest management game for 2018.
