Wisconsin Students Earn DHIA Scholarships

A Wisconsin student has been named the winner of the Joe Drexler Memorial Scholarship from the National Dairy Herd Information Association. Tyler Schroepfer of Birnamwood is this year's recipient, where he will earn money for his continuing education.
This year marks the 12th consecutive year for awarding a scholarship in memory of Joe Drexler, who worked for NorthStar Cooperative DHI Services.
Meanwhile, the National DHIA Scholarship committee also selected 14 other high school seniors and college students as recipients of $1,000 scholarships this year. From Wisconsin, Jared Baudhuin of Brussels and Grace Haase from Somerset were selected
for a scholarship.
Judges evaluated applicants on scholastic achievements, leadership in school and community activities, and responses to DHI- and career-related questions.
