Badgerland Financial Offering Scholarships to Seniors

The Baraboo-based Badgerland Financial announced it will award up to twenty $1000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors interested in pursuing post-secondary studies in agriculture or an agriculture-related field.
Program organizers say students must live within the 33-county area served by Badgerland Financial and be a graduating high school senior pursuing their interest and studies in an agriculture-related field at a short course, technical school or college.
"Badgerland Financial recognizes the dynamic role agriculture plays in our local economy," says Badgerland CEO Diane Cole. "This scholarship program is a way to help deserving students open the doors of opportunity in continuing their education. We are pleased to support the agricultural leaders of tomorrow."
Applications must be postmarked by March 1. Payment will be made after Badgerland Financial receives proof of completion of the first semester.
