State FFA Officer Candidate Kick-Off to be Held
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 02/17/2014

Do you know a student interested in serving as a Wisconsin state FFA officer? If so, they can learn more about the election process and have their questions answered during a special program next month in Madison.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison will host its State Officer Candidate Kick-Off, or SOCK, on March 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the UW-Madison campus.

Throughout the day, past state officers will offer their experience and expertise of the entire candidate process, ranging from preparing resumes to giving interviews and speeches. In the past, students have found this workshop to be very valuable in their quest for state office.

The entire day, including lunch, is completely free of charge. Parents and advisors are also welcome. To register for the conference or for more details, call 443-356-9212.
