Wisconsin Aquaculture Conference Planned for March

Fish Farmers from Wisconsin and around the midwest will be meeting next month for the 15th Annual Wisconsin Aquaculture Conference. 'We're Fresh and Local' is the theme of the March 19-20 event, slated to be held at the Ramada Inn in Eau Claire.

The conference will feature sessions on aquaponics, marketing, pond management, research, health/fish management, regulations, and species breakout groups. Returning again will be Dani Klontz for the ever popular Fish Cooking Demonstration. The annual trade show will feature vendors that have the newest and latest in aquaculture equipment and services.

Meanwhile, Cheryl O'Brien, the 62nd Alice in Dairyland, will give a talk on Wisconsin Aquaculture. And a Silent Auction will be held to benefit FFA members who are apply for SAE Aquaculture Grants.
