WASA Offering Eldon Roesler Scholarships
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 02/23/2011

Students who plan on attending a Wisconsin University, college, or Vocational Technical College in an agricultural major can now apply for one of four $1,000 scholarships being offered by the Wisconsin Agri-Service Association. The WASA, which is made up of state grain elevators, feed mills, ingredient manufacturers and suppliers, says applications are now available for its Eldon Roesler Scholarships.

The scholarship program is available to any student that is a resident of Wisconsin who plans to pursue a career in agriculture after completing their education. To be eligible, applicants must have already completed a minimum of one year of study; maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale; and demonstrate in written form their qualities of leadership, academic ability and financial need.

A committee will select the best-qualified recipients. The funds will be paid out at the beginning of each semester for which a scholarship is granted.
