UW-Madison AGR to Hold Meeting for Incoming College Freshman
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 03/05/2010

The Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is inviting incoming male students to its annual Competitive Edge program.

The event was created to help freshmen adjust to college life, and to give future students and their parents a chance to tour campus, meet professors in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and meet leaders from student organizations around campus.

The program will be held March 20. The day will begin with scholarship interviews for finalists in the scholarship competition. A $1000 and two $500 scholarships are being offered to applicants.

Alpha Gamma Rho is a social and professional fraternity for students with a background or interest in the agricultural and life sciences. By attending the scholarship competition, students are not obligated to become a member, but are encouraged to consider Alpha Gamma Rho as a means of furthering campus involvement, leadership potential and professional development while attending UW-Madison.
