PDPW Webinar Series to Focus on Opportunities in Dairy Markets
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 03/08/2013
The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin will hold its next World-Class Webinar Series this spring on capturing opportunities within the dairy markets. Dairy Economist Mary Ledman will serve as the facilitator of the three-part program, where she will talk about how the global market will impact dairy prices for producers on a local level. She will also explain how farmers can manage their margins to help generate a profit and seize other opportunities over the next couple of years by using market tools and methods.
Ledman is the principal of Keough, Ledman, and Associates in Libertyville, Illinois. Her first program, being held April 22, will offer a birds-eye view of dairy markets around the world and explain how those far-away places impact what you get paid for your own milk.
Other webinars will be held on May 20 and June 17. All three presentations will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The cost to participate in the on-line interactive program for PDPW members is $100 per registered computer. Non-members can join in for $125. There is no limit to the number of people who wish to share one computer for the program.
Interested participants must have a high-speed Internet connection and must pre-register.
