UW-Madison CALS Ranked Among Top Ag Schools

The 2021 rankings are in for the top agricultural universities in the world and the University of Wisconsin-Madison's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is among the top of the list.
WAXX Radio reports that the school, which is also the flagship campus of the UW-Extension, is rated as the eighth best agricultural school in the world. It was also ranked eighth in 2020.
The top rated ag college on the list is in the Netherlands, with only two other U.S. campuses beating out Madison. The University of California-Davis ranks second and Cornell remains at number five.
Ranking ninth and tenth are UC-Berkeley and Michigan State. Iowa State comes in at number 14, Purdue is 15th, Penn State is number 24, Ohio State ranks 31st with Minnesota ranked as the 36th best ag college in the world.
