Women in Agriculture Conference Coming to Milladore

Farm women in central Wisconsin are invited to attend the Heart of the Farm-Women in Agriculture Conference to be held April 1. The program will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. in Milladore at the Mead Wildlife Education and Visitor Center.
The conference series is a University of Wisconsin-Extension program that is committed to addressing the needs of farm women by providing education on farm business topics, connecting them with agricultural resources and creating support networks. The forums provide women with the opportunity to network
with other farm women; learn about their personality colors; and crop insurance. Participants can get their herd health questions answered; and taste delicious local foods during lunch.
Financial decision making, communication during farm succession and ag trivial will be among the topics being discussed.
