BouMatic Sponsors UW-Platteville's Pioneer NAMA Chapter
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 03/18/2014

The Pioneer National Agri-Marketing Association chapter at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville has a new major sponsor. The Madison-based BouMatic, which is the nation's largest dairy equipment company, is sponsoring the program's trip to the national NAMA product marketing competition in Jacksonville, Florida next month.

During the contest, students will present, and be evaluated on, a comprehensive marketing strategy for BouMatic's AMI 5450 Detacher, which is an innovative new milk yield indicator released in early 2014. The Pioneer NAMA Chapter was recognized as a national finalist for their work at the 2013 national competition.

"We appreciate BouMatic's contribution to Pioneer NAMA," said Pioneer NAMA President Abigail Fink. "BouMatic's support made it possible for us to attend the competition this year."

BouMatic President Todd DeMonte says his company is proud to sponsor such an outstanding group of students and is confident the Pioneer NAMA Chapter will skillfully represent BouMatic and its products at the competition.

The 2014 contest will take place on April 8-10. BouMatic is celebrating 75 years of serving the dairy industry this year.
