Adams to Lead State Corn Promotion Board

A Walworth County crop grower as been elected president of the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board.
Dave Adams of Lake Geneva was chosen to lead the group during the board's spring meeting last week.
Randy Woodruff from Chippewa Falls was elected vice president. And Tom Gillis, River Falls, is the secretary-treasurer.
The nine-member Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board is responsible for overseeing the collection and use of about $1.3 million in assessment fees paid by Wisconsin corn growers.
