Children's Show Steers Lost in Dunn Co. Barn Fire

A fire south of Menomonie this week destroyed three farm buildings and several show steers.
Dunn County officials said the blaze was reported Tuesday morning on a farm near Downsville, where about a dozen pigs and two rabbits also perished in the fire.
Authorities believe the damage to the barn and two sheds is estimated at over $100,000.
The farm's owners say a heat lamp may have fell into a pile of hay and ignited the fire.
