Brown County's Breakfast on the Farm to Go On, After all

Recent talks about Brown County ending its annual dairy breakfast on the farm for a year has apparently ended with a resolution. The Dairy Promotion Program announced this week that Country Aire Farms in Greenleaf will host the event on June 18, which is
Father's Day.
The group nearly called off the annual festivities because it could not find a farm to host the breakfast.
Country Aire Farms is owned by the Gerrits family. They hosted the event once before in 2003.
Coordinator Nicole Nohl says the breakfast is usually is held the first Sunday of June, but the committee chose to push the date back to accommodate the host farm's schedule.
Proceeds from the breakfast support agricultural education for Brown County students and the community.
