PDPW Planning 'Dairy Dialogue' Farm Tours in April
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 03/30/2017

The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin is putting together a 'Dairy Dialogue Day Tour' next month, which will include a charter bus trip to two Northeast Wisconsin dairy farms.

The tour will depart from Green Bay on April 20 and stop at Betley Family Farms and Synergy Family Dairy, both near Pulaski.

Dr. Randy Shaver of the University of Wisconsin-Madison will facilitate the day's events. He will help connect participants with fellow dairy owners and managers to discuss short- and long-term management strategies revolving around reproduction goals, optimizing calf growth, genetics and overall production.

The trip is limited to the first 50 dairy farmer registrations. The cost to attend is $60 for PDPW members and $185 for non-members.

For more information or to register, go to: www.pdpw.org or call 800-947-7379.
