Wisconsin Ag Connection - 01/10/2018
Wisconsin Farm Bureau President Jim Holte will hold on to his position on the American Farm Bureau Federation's board of directors. The Elk Mount beef producer was elected to another term on the panel during this week's AFBF annual meeting in Nashville.
He was first chosen for the post in 2015.
Holte has served as a state Farm Bureau board member since 1995. He is also a past president of the Wisconsin Beef Council and is a former member of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture board.
Jim was elected as the Wisconsin Farm Bureau's leader in December 2012 after serving many years on the board.
Meanwhile, delegates at this week's convention also re-elected Zippy Duvall from Georgia as its president.
