American Agri-Women to Hold Mid-Year Meeting in Minneapolis
Wisconsin Ag Connection - 03/31/2014
The American Agri-Women is holding its annual Mid-Year Meeting in the upper Midwest this year. The group is the nation's largest coalition of farm, ranch and agribusiness women with more than 50 state, commodity and agribusiness affiliate organizations throughout the country.
Members will be gathering April 3-5 at the Hyatt Place in Minneapolis. The AAW's mission is to educate the public, policy makers and others about production agriculture and to promote and enhance the agricultural industry.
Leaders will then deliver these position statements developed at the meeting to key members of Congress and others at its annual Fly-In to Washington, D.C. later this year.
Since 1974, AAW members have worked together to educate consumers, advocate for agriculture and offer networking and professional development opportunities.
