AWA Breakfast on the Farm Slated for April 15

Plans are underway for the 17th annual Association of Women in Agriculture's Breakfast on the Farm. The event will be held on April 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Stock Pavilion located on the UW-Madison campus.

This year's theme for the breakfast is 'Educating America, One Meal at a Time.'

The country tradition includes a farm fresh meal of pancakes, eggs, applesauce, mushrooms, sausage, milk, juice and ice cream.

The breakfast also includes an educational area featuring a petting zoo and agriculture awareness activities. Entertainment during the event will include the UW-Marching Band and Bucky Badger, live Polka music, and a clogging performance while you eat breakfast

Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens (65+), $5 for students (K-UW), and $3 for children ages 5 and under. A dollar will be taken off admission with the donation of every three canned food items for Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin.
