Nominations Sought for State Conservation Award

Dedicated conservationists across the Wisconsin will have an opportunity to receive statewide recognition for their achievements as Gathering Waters Conservancy kicks off their annual Land Conservation
Leadership Awards.
The awards recognize the conservation accomplishments of individuals, land trusts and policy makers for their efforts to protect Wisconsin's working lands, wild places, and scenic rivers
for future generations.
Established in 2003, award categories include Conservationist, Policy Maker, and Land Trust of the Year. Honorees will be recognized formally at Gathering Waters Conservancy's sixth annual Awards
Celebration in September.
